Nexus Careers Group is recruiting an experienced Electrical Shift Technician to join the engineering team at a highly sensitive government facility in Westminster. Due to the nature of the site and the work undertaken, the client’s identity and precise location will remain confidential during the initial recruitment process.
The successful candidate will work as part of a continental shift team, maintaining critical electrical and building-services infrastructure within a secure, operational environment. This role is subject to successful Security Check and Developed Vetting clearance, commonly referred to as SC and DV vetting.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the facility, responding to plant faults and helping to maintain the safe and reliable operation of critical services. The position will involve electrical maintenance, fault-finding, plant inspections, contractor supervision and emergency-response activity. You will work closely with the Shift Leader and wider facilities team, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with strict site procedures, security requirements and safe systems of work.
