Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Reading Salary: £40,000+ Duration: Permanent Sector: Engineering The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established company based in Reading. This role offers a dynamic working environment where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in a variety of commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults efficiently * Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations * Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems * Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment as required * Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out Skills and Qualifications: * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (or equivalent) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) * City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing (desirable) * Proven experience in electrical maintenance within commercial or industrial environments * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * SC or DV cleared (preferred but not essential) The Offer: * Competitive salary of £40,000+ per annum. * Pension scheme * Overtime opportunities * Training and career development opportunities Interested?
