We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Associate to join our dynamic team remotely, collaborating closely with colleagues in India and onshore partners. The successful candidate will play a vital role in conducting comprehensive research and analysis on the performance of investment banks and other financial services firms, utilizing secondary research sources. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality client reports, including in-depth research documents for ongoing quarterly projects as well as shorter-term assignments.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore team members and partners to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative research using secondary sources such as web searches, published financial statements, and specialized databases.
- Analyze gathered data, perform estimations, and integrate proprietary datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Develop, maintain, and manage financial databases and models in Excel.
- Prepare and present comprehensive client reports, ensuring adherence to process standards, primarily using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Draft clear, concise qualitative summaries to complement quantitative research outputs.
- Strong background in Financial Analysis and Research, with proven experience in Balance Sheet and P&L analysis.
- Familiarity with Investment Banking research, particularly equities, fixed income products, and a solid understanding of capital markets operations.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint being essential.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working within diverse teams.
