Operating through 40+ micro‑fulfilment hubs and 800 active couriers, the business processed over 5 million deliveries last year and is growing at 40% year‑on‑year. The Head of Operations is building a management layer to maintain service quality as the network scales.
The Role
As Operations Manager, you will have end‑to‑end accountability for operational performance across a defined geographic region. You will manage a team of Operations Coordinators, own regional courier partner relationships, and drive continuous improvement in delivery SLAs and cost per parcel.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily operational performance across your region, monitoring SLAs, managing exception queues, and ensuring courier availability meets demand.
- Lead and develop a team of 3–5 Operations Coordinators.
- Own relationships with regional courier network partners, conducting performance reviews and resolving service issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements that reduce cost or improve reliability.
- Produce regular performance reports with root cause commentary and improvement plans.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 1 year managing a team.
- Experience in a high‑volume operational environment (logistics, fulfilment, or courier network).
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets to diagnose performance issues.
- Decisive and action‑oriented; calm under pressure during operational incidents.
