The selected candidate for the Director of Operations role will lead operational excellence across the organisation, drive strategic initiatives, and build scalable systems that enable growth. You will:
- Set operational strategy and translate it into executable plans that align with business objectives
- Own critical business operations, spanning process optimisation, resource allocation, performance management, and cross-functional coordination
- Lead operational planning cycles, budgeting, forecasting, capacity planning, and strategic roadmapping
- Build and refine operating models, governance structures, and workflows that scale with the business
- Partner directly with executive leadership and functional heads to drive high-impact initiatives and remove blockers
- Establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into operational health and business performance
- Lead, develop, and scale operations teams, building capability and fostering a culture of execution excellence
You’ll be a strong match if you have:
- 7-10+ years of experience in consulting (MBB, Big 4, or boutique firms) or senior operations roles in fast-growing organisations
- A proven track record of leading operations at scale, whether building new functions, optimising existing ones, or driving transformation
- Strategic thinking combined with operational rigor
- Strong analytical and financial acumen (i.e., you build business cases, manage P&Ls, and use data to drive decisions)
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams (i.e., you know how to hire, coach, and scale operational talent)
- Executive presence and influence, meaning you can partner effectively with C-suite leaders and drive alignment across the organisation
- Comfort operating in dynamic, high-growth environments where priorities shift and you need to build infrastructure in real time
