About NextStep
NextStep connects top consulting talent with high-potential opportunities through smart, AI-powered matching. We partner with ambitious companies across sectors to place experienced professionals in roles where they can have a real impact.
About the Company
Our client is a Series B enterprise SaaS company headquartered in London, providing AI-powered supply chain visibility and risk management software to large manufacturers and logistics operators across Europe and North America. With £15m ARR, 90 employees, and a customer base spanning several FTSE 100 businesses, the company is at an inflection point. Backed by Atomico and a US strategic investor, it is hiring a CRO to unify and professionalise the revenue function ahead of its Series C.
The Role
As Chief Revenue Officer, you will own every revenue-generating function, including sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships, and be accountable for the company's growth trajectory. You will report to the CEO, sit on the executive team, and be the most senior commercial hire in the company's history.
What You'll Do
- Set and own the revenue strategy across sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships, aligning each function around shared ARR and expansion targets.
- Build and lead the commercial organisation, including hiring, structuring, and developing a team of 20 as the business scales.
- Own enterprise relationships personally for the largest and most strategic accounts.
- Design and implement a scalable GTM motion, including ICP definition, outbound playbook, pricing architecture, and land-and-expand model.
- Lead Series C commercial preparation: build the revenue narrative, stress-test assumptions, and present credibly to institutional investors.
What We're Looking For
- 12–16 years of experience spanning enterprise sales, commercial leadership, and ideally a CRO or VP Sales role within a B2B SaaS business.
- Track record of scaling ARR from £10m–£50m+ in an enterprise SaaS environment with long sales cycles and complex buying committees.
- Strong people leader, experienced in building and developing high-performing revenue organisations.
- Commercially strategic and operationally rigorous, able to set the vision and run the numbers.
- Supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing sector experience is an advantage but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of £160,000 – £200,000, reflecting the seniority of the role.
- Significant performance bonus with upside tied directly to ARR growth.
- Meaningful equity stake commensurate with CRO-level contribution.
- Private health cover, enhanced pension, and hybrid working from London.
