Our client is a London-based climate technology company providing enterprise carbon management and ESG reporting software to large corporates across financial services, manufacturing, and real estate. With 90 staff and £18m ARR following a £35m Series B, the business is accelerating enterprise sales after strong traction in the mid-market.
The Role
As Director of Enterprise Sales, you will own enterprise new business, building and leading a team of four Enterprise Account Executives, developing the enterprise sales playbook, and personally leading the most complex and highest-value sales processes. You will work closely with the CRO, product, and customer success teams to ensure the enterprise motion is tightly executed and commercially disciplined.
What You'll Do
- Build, lead, and develop a team of four Enterprise Account Executives, setting targets, coaching on deal strategy, and creating a high-performance sales culture.
- Own the enterprise new business pipeline and revenue target, taking personal ownership of the largest and most strategic deals.
- Develop and codify the enterprise sales playbook, from outbound strategy and multi-threading to commercial structure and negotiation.
- Partner with the product team to ensure enterprise feedback shapes the roadmap and the value proposition is tailored to large corporate buying criteria.
- Report on pipeline health, deal progression, and forecast accuracy to the CRO and ExCo.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in enterprise B2B software sales, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
- Consistent track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with ACV of £100k+.
- Experience building and codifying enterprise sales processes from an early-stage base.
- Strong coach and people developer, able to build a team's capability without removing their ownership.
- Interest in sustainability, ESG, or climate is strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary of £120,000 – £150,000, depending on experience. Uncapped OTE with significant commission on new ARR. Equity options. 25 days holiday and hybrid working from London. Pension and private health.
