About the Company

Our client is a PE-backed professional services group operating across the UK and Ireland, with businesses in outsourced finance, compliance, and HR services. The group has completed 12 bolt-on acquisitions in the past three years and has an active pipeline of a further 8–10 targets. The Head of Corporate Development is hiring an Analyst to help manage a growing deal volume and support the integration of acquired businesses.

The Role

As Corporate Development Analyst, you will support the deal team across the full M&A lifecycle, from target identification and financial analysis through to due diligence coordination and post‑acquisition integration tracking. You will work closely with the Head of Corporate Development and have direct exposure to the CFO and PE sponsor.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and update the M&A target pipeline, researching potential acquisitions, tracking outreach, and preparing initial screening memos.
  • Build financial models and valuations for acquisition targets, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and LBO scenarios.
  • Support due diligence processes - coordinating information requests, tracking progress, and summarising key findings.
  • Prepare materials for investment committee and board presentations.
  • Track integration milestones for recent acquisitions, following up with workstream leads and flagging risks.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance advisory, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Strong financial modelling skills - valuation analysis and M&A experience are a clear advantage.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present findings clearly.
