The Role
We are seeking professional Security Officers with proven experience within the security sector. This role is based at a prestigious manufacturing and engineering site, serving as the UK headquarters of a global brand.
Hours will be a minimum of 4 shifts per week and a mixture of nights, days and weekends. There will be a requirement to work bank holidays. DO NOT APPLY if you are not able to be flexible with hours of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security foot patrols throughout each shift.
- Complete patrol tag reporting, daily occurrence book recording, and incident reporting.
- Provide full liaison with your employer on a daily basis.
- Engage with staff, managers, directors, contractors, and transport/logistics personnel.
- Carry out ID checks, visitor booking‑in, HGV weighing, and contractor/visitor management.
- Ensure a professional, respectful, and customer‑focused approach at all times.
Candidate Requirements / Must Haves
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manned guarding, specifically within corporate security.
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding / Door Supervision).
- Valid CCTV Licence.
- First Aid trained (must be able to demonstrate competency).
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Full driving licence and ability to drive.
- Must live within 30 minutes (ideal easy commute) of Tibshelf, Derbyshire.
- Good health, stamina, and full fitness to carry out active duties.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – respectful, professional, and a team player.
- Passion for security work, taking pride in responsibilities and duties.
