Security officer – Evenings. 16.00 – Midnight. We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Security Officer (Shift) to join their team at a well-maintained site in Addlestone in Kent. This is a role working a fixed evening shift from 16:00 to midnight, offering consistent hours in a supportive and professional environment. Shift patterns across Monday to Sunday. Due to the shift times and site location, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. The Role: * Monitoring access to the site and controlling entry for residents, visitors, and contractors * Carrying out regular internal and external patrols during the evening * Ensuring site security systems are fully operational and responding to any issues * Completing detailed incident and handover reports * Liaising with site management and, if needed, emergency services * Providing a visible, professional security presence throughout the shift Candidate Requirements: * Valid SIA Security Licence (essential) * Minimum 2 years of relevant security experience * Strong communication skills in spoken and written English * Competent with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel * Ability to provide 5 years of verifiable UK work history * Driving licence and own transport are essential due to late finish and limited public transport Pay & Benefits: * £12.30 per hour * Consistent evening hours (16:00–midnight) * Full uniform and PPE provided * 20 days paid holiday (pro rata) * Company pension scheme
