Nextra Recruitment is hiring a full-time Recruitment Consultant to join the team based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. This role focusses on new business development and end-to-end recruitment across multiple sectors with specialisms in security, facilities management (FM), and logistics/warehousing sectors. This is not just a delivery or desk-based admin role. We\’re looking for someone who can hunt out opportunities, grow accounts, and build a strong client and candidate database. You will manage both permanent and temporary roles, meet clients face-to-face, and help drive our business forward. Important: This is a 5-day-a-week office-based role. You will be expected to work from the Borehamwood office when not out visiting clients or prospecting. Key Responsibilities: * Develop new permanent and temporary placement business with clients ( FM, security, and logistics is a specialism) * Manage the full 360 recruitment process (perm and temp roles) * Build and maintain a quality database of candidates and clients * Attend client meetings and site visits to understand hiring needs as required from time to time * Work closely with internal teams for compliance and onboarding * Report activity and maintain accurate records on the internal reporting systems * Be present in the Borehamwood office when not on client visits or prospecting – weekly diary management is required. * Manage administrative tasks including agreement of terms and conditions with clients and keeping all documentation up to date * Oversee temp placements, ensuring all admin, vetting and payroll processes are completed and accurate working with accounts personnel as required. * Conduct initial candidate screening interviews and calls to assess suitability before shortlisting. * Maintain a clear and organised pipeline, tracking progress and following up consistently with internal teams and Director (s). * Confidently prepare and present updates in internal pipeline and sales review meetings on a regular basis. What We’re Looking For: * 3+ years’ experience in recruitment (perm and temp) * Knowledge of FM, security, or logistics is an advantage * Strong business development and relationship-building skills * Self-starter with a commercial mindset and good communication happy to work in a small but fast moving team * Someone with the ability to prospect, manage and build the growth and administration of their own revenue stream and pipeline. * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle * Must live within commutable distance to Borehamwood What’s on Offer: * £30,000 – £40,000 basic salary depending on experience * Uncapped commission structure * Laptop, phone, and travel expenses provided * Long-term growth opportunity
