We are seeking cleaning operatives to work up to 3 hours per night with a minimum of 5 nights per week to join our team working in the Dialysis and Cancer care units. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to NHS 2021 cleaning standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dedicated cleaning duties of the treatment rooms, offices, patient areas such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Skills:
- Must be living within a 30-minute drive of Newbury, Berkshire
- Previous experience in NHS cleaning is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
