NextPharma is seeking a dynamic leader to drive the evolution and enhancement of our EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) function across the Sites and the Group. This is a dual leadership role that requires both strategic oversight and hands-on technical expertise.
Role Overview
The Global EHS Manager will be responsible for:
- EHS Leadership: Developing, implementing, and continuously improving EHS programs to ensure compliance with national and European legislation while advancing NextPharma’s safety & sustainability goals.
This role requires strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain Group-wide EHS policies, procedures, and technical standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, REACH, CLP, and other environmental legislation).
- Monitor legislative changes and lead implementation across sites.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Benchmark EHS practices against pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Drive adoption of EHS tools and systems for continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of staff.
- Lead awareness campaigns and facilitate regular networking forums with local EHS managers.
