Key Responsibilities
- This role leads our Inside Sales team of 8 Mid Market Account Executives selling into the UK&I market, helping expand our business and grow our customer base.
- Mentor, coach, and develop Senior Account Executives — from outbound cold calling through conversion, deal close, and quota over-attainment.
- Support deal progression and negotiation live, across the team.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing/Growth and Account Development leadership to ensure quality lead volume for the UK&I Inside Sales team.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Finance, and Order Operations to keep deal flow smooth.
- Identify opportunities and lead initiatives that grow the business across the UK&I market.
- Champion and role-model Samsara's cultural principles — Obsess Over the Customer, Build for the Long Term, Growth Mindset, Inclusivity, Winning as a Team — as we scale globally and across new offices.
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of sales experience.
- 2+ years managing a team (preferred).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and MEDDIC/MEDDPICC.
- Strong strategic problem-solving, project management, interpersonal, and team management skills.
- Proven track record of overachievement, including experience coaching a team on outbounding.
- Experience with a Proof of Concept or Trial sales motion.
- Comfort giving upward feedback.
