Make a Real Difference Through Outdoor Learning. NextGen Young Peoples Services is looking for passionate and motivated Outdoor Education Support Workers to join our team. This role involves working with children and young people who may face challenges such as school disengagement, autism, learning difficulties, emotional wellbeing needs, or safeguarding vulnerabilities. Through outdoor learning, mentoring, and practical activities, you will help young people develop confidence, resilience, and life skills while supporting their engagement with education.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging outdoor learning and activity sessions
  • Create and deliver lesson plans aligned with young peoples EHCP targets
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
  • Support young people with autism and learning difficulties
  • Encourage confidence, teamwork, and resilience
  • Help young people re-engage with education
  • Complete termly progress reports in line with educational targets
  • Maintain safe and supportive learning environments
  • Work closely with the wider NextGen team
