- Primary School Teachers to join our supply team across
West Yorkshire , with opportunities available in Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Kirklees and surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day supply, short-term placements or longer-term opportunities, we can help you find roles that suit your experience and availability.
You'll have the opportunity to work across a range of welcoming primary schools and year groups, while receiving ongoing support from your dedicated consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
- Follow school planning and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Manage pupil behaviour confidently and consistently.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress where required.
- Support the academic, social and emotional development of pupils.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders.
- Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and expectations.
- Provide a high standard of teaching and maintain continuity of learning.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) β essential.
Previous experience teaching in a primary school β essential.
- Experience teaching EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's development.
- Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
