Location: Ossett, Wakefield

Contract: Part-Time, Term-Time (Mondays and Wednesdays)

Age Group: 3-11 years

Start Date: September

Salary: £150 - £170 per day (Depending on Experience)

NextGen Teachers are looking for a wonderful Part-Time Qualified Primary Teacher for two days a week. This is for a fantastic school within a welcoming and supportive primary setting. The experienced candidate will be marking and teaching, no planning required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons using the school's planned curriculum.
  • Mark pupils' work and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs where appropriate.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and work collaboratively with colleagues to support the best outcomes for all pupils.
What we’re looking for:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS2.
  • A confident and effective classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
  • A positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, promoting pupil wellbeing, and supporting every child to reach their full potential.
