NextGen Teachers are seeking a fantastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a school in Castleford as soon as possible. A Level 3 qualification is essential for this role, along with previous nursery experience. If you meet these requirements, we would be very interested to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help deliver activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Assist with planning and setting up learning activities
  • Prepare materials and tidy up after sessions
  • Observe children and share feedback with the teacher
  • Help children feel safe, included, and confident
  • Assist with toileting, handwashing, and hygiene where required

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • A good understanding of child development and play-based learning
  • A patient, caring, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
  • Level 3 certified
