NextGen Teachers are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist provision in Leeds to recruit an experienced and dedicated SEMH Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive and nurturing setting that works with pupils who require additional support with their social, emotional and mental health needs. The school is committed to creating a calm, engaging and inclusive learning environment where pupils can rebuild confidence, develop positive relationships and re-engage with education.

The successful candidate will be teaching predominantly KS4 pupils and should be confident delivering creative, engaging lessons that support both academic progress and emotional development. Creative subjects and therapeutic approaches play an important role within the provision, helping pupils with self-expression, confidence and emotional regulation.

Candidates applying must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have at least 2 years’ teaching experience within a specialist setting or alternative provision.

The Role
