The Role
- Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Planning, preparing and assessing lessons (for long-term and permanent roles)
- Delivering pre-planned lessons (for supply and cover roles)
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experienced teaching within UK Primary Schools (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
- Confident teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Flexible, reliable and adaptable
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
