We’re working with a lovely school who are wanting recent graduates that are passionate about education and supporting learners with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide behaviour support to pupils across KS2
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to develop social and self-regulation skills
- Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Use de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies effectively
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and behaviour
- Support pupils during break and lunchtime where needed
- Follow safeguarding procedures and attend ongoing training
- KS2 experience supporting children with SEND, particularly SEMH needs
- Calm, patient, and an empathetic approach to behaviour support
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident using positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, with strong safeguarding and confidentiality awareness
- Proactive, flexible, and resilient attitude
- Committed to safeguarding and child welfare
