NextGen Teachers are looking for teaching assistants who are not just looking for another job but are passionate about supporting students with complex needs. The right candidate will be experienced with caring for pupils with needs such as severe learning difficulties, complex medical needs, physical difficulties, Down's Syndrome, hearing and/or visual impairments and autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support learners with a range of complex needs in daily learning
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated, inclusive lessons
- Work flexibly across sites to meet changing learner needs
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil welfare
- Record progress and report concerns to staff and senior leaders
