- This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people from
- Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 with a range of additional needs, including
Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, communication and interaction difficulties, and associated learning needs .

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups within the classroom.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
- Encourage pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.
- Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour through a nurturing approach.
- The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who
- Has previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND, either in education or a care setting.
- Has a genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
- Is patient, resilient, empathetic and adaptable.
- Can work effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Has experience supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH or complex additional needs (desirable).
