NextGen Teachers are recruiting motivated graduates to work as Teaching Assistants across schools in Surrey and West Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN / SEND). This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in teaching, Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or Child Classroom support.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning challenges. You will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop key life skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
