NextGen Teachers are seeking a fantastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a school in Castleford as soon as possible. A Level 3 qualification is essential for this role, along with previous nursery experience. If you meet these requirements, we would be very interested to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:- Help deliver activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Assist with planning and setting up learning activities
- Prepare materials and tidy up after sessions
- Observe children and share feedback with the teacher
- Help children feel safe, included, and confident
- Assist with toileting, handwashing, and hygiene where required
- Experience working with young children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- A good understanding of child development and play-based learning
- A patient, caring, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Level 3 certified
