NextGen Teachers are currently working with a Specialist Provision located in Bradford who are seeking to recruit full-time Teaching Assistants to support their pupils with SEMH needs starting from ASAP for temporary to permanent contracts.
This Specialist SEMH School in Bradford caters for pupils aged 11-19 years of age who have Social and Emotional Mental Health needs and who are working on a Primary based curriculum.
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about making a difference to pupils' lives who have SEMH needs and have the experience/knowledge to deal with pupils who are at risk of crisis.
The role of an SEMH Support Assistant in this school will be to:
- Support pupils in the classroom on a day-to-day basis
- Work with multiple pupils and support students with 1-2-1 support and intervention
- Support pupils with their holistic development in line with their Educational Health Care Plans
- Support and manage the behaviour of the students
