NextGen Teachers are currently working with a Specialist Provision located in Leeds who are seeking to recruit a full-time Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support their pupils with Complex needs starting ASAP on a temporary to permanent contract.
The SEN provision is part of a multi-academy trust which is passionate about employee progression and welfare - you will be given consistent training and support within your role. The provision caters for pupils across the Primary and Secondary age range who have a range of Complex needs including: Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD, PMLD and who are non-verbal.
The role of a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant in this school will be to:
- Support pupils in the classroom on a day to day basis
- Work with multiple pupils and support students with 1-2-1 support and Intervention
- Support pupils with their holistic development in line with their Educational Health Care Plans
- Support and manage the behaviour of the students
