Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Type: Ongoing / Temp to Perm

Pay: £100 - £130 per day - DOE

We are looking for a compassionate, confident, and proactive Teaching Assistant / LSA to support a bright and engaging pupil within a welcoming and supportive secondary school environment. We are looking for someone who has a calm, flexible approach, and experience of boosting confidence and reducing anxiety. The successful candidate will be an excellent relationship builder and have proven ability of providing learning support either in a school setting or a relevant transferable position.

Your role will involve:

  • Providing consistent 1:1 teaching assistant support in lessons and in a quiet, structured workspace
  • Helping to break down learning into smaller, achievable steps as an LSA
  • Offering gentle encouragement and emotional reassurance throughout the day providing emotional continuity
  • Communicating daily with parents, summarising progress and focus areas for home
  • Collaborating with Teaching staff and the school SENDCo to adapt tasks and promote positive participation
