As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of machinery and factory areas. You will be working with one of the UK's leading free-range and organic egg businesses, with operations spanning farming, packing, and processing. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest free-range and organic egg businesses, renowned for their commitment to quality and innovation. With roots dating back to 1926, the client operates across three key divisions: farming and agriculture, egg packing and cooked egg processing.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning of machinery and factory areas.
- Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Handle chemicals safely in compliance with COSHH regulations.
- Adhere to company hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Always ensure proper use of PPE.
- Actively contribute to health and safety policies, ensuring your safety and that of your colleagues.
- Detail-oriented and methodical.
- Well-organised and able to work effectively under pressure.
- A strong team player with excellent organisational skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Previous experience in hygiene or cleaning roles is essential.
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not required.
