Calling All Storytellers, Mud Kitchen Chefs, & Puddle-Jumping Pros! Do you have a genuine passion for child development? Are you the kind of person who can turn a cardboard box into a spaceship, negotiate peace treaties over toy trains, and give the best high-fives in South East London? We are the Early Years Professional Network, and we are looking for friendly, child-orientated Nursery Practitioners and Assistants to bring their magic to fantastic nurseries across Greenwich. We know that working in Early Years is all about the children – we've built a flexible supply network that lets you focus entirely on the fun stuff, without the stress of endless paperwork or unpaid overtime!
Requirements
- Who We Are Looking For: We pride ourselves on providing nurseries with enthusiastic, reliable staff who genuinely love working with children.
- The Qualified Tier (Level 2 & Level 3): You hold a "Full & Relevant" Early Years or Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, Level 3 Early Years Educator, NNEB). Please note: Due to government ratio regulations, Health & Social Care or Teaching Assistant (TA) qualifications do not meet the criteria for Qualified Practitioner rates.
- The Unqualified/Support Tier: You might not have the official paperwork, but you have the heart for it! We welcome warm, experienced applicants with 3+ months of verifiable experience working in a private nursery or preschool setting.
- Compliance (The 2025 Standard): Safety first! To be counted in nursery ratios, you must hold a Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate. If you don't have one right now, you must be willing to complete the training immediately to keep our little ones safe and compliant with regulations.
Benefits
- Keep It Local: We use a "Local-First" booking system. We partner with wonderful, welcoming nurseries right here in Greenwich so you spend less time commuting and more time doing what you love.
- Great Pay for Great Play: Earn between £12.75 and £14.50 per hour, with your wages paid reliably every single Friday.
- Total Freedom: You are the boss of your own diary! Whether you want to work two days a week around your family or jump in full-time, you set your availability.
- Focus on the Fun: Step in, support the nursery team, facilitate amazing EYFS learning, and leave the heavy planning behind.
