Nexter recruits great nursery staff for great nurseries.
We are seeking three dedicated and passionate Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioners to join a stable, high-quality private nursery located in the welcoming Sydenham / Forest Hill area (SE26) of South East London.
This is a secure, full-time permanent position offering a stable career path away from agency work. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and safe learning environment, upholding the highest standards of the EYFS Statutory Framework, and providing high-quality care and education to a specific age group.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a designated Key Person for a group of children.
Plan, implement, and lead creative, age-appropriate activities.
Conduct regular observations and assessments to track and support children's development.
Maintain effective communication and build strong partnerships with parents/carers.
Ensure the nursery's standards for safeguarding and health and safety are met at all times.
Work collaboratively as a positive and proactive member of the nursery team.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
Hold a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, Diploma).
Must have previous, recent experience working within a formal nursery or EYFS setting in the UK.
Must provide documentation demonstrating the Right to Work in the UK.
Supply a minimum of 2 satisfactory professional references covering the last 2 years of employment.
Compliance Essentials (Required Before Start Date)
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for a new one immediately).
