Bring Your Spark to Early Years in Abbey Wood! It takes a special kind of energy to keep up with a busy nursery room. We are looking for the kind of practitioner who doesn't just watch from the sidelines, but gets right down on the carpet to build, paint, and guide children through their day. Right now, we are working closely with some wonderful local nurseries across Abbey Wood and the Greenwich borough. They need extra hands they can actually rely on—passionate Early Years Practitioners and Assistants who bring a positive spark to the room from the minute they walk in.

You give so much of your energy to the children every day, which is exactly why you deserve a work‑life balance that actually works for you. That is why our supply network is built around your personal life, not the other way around. You bring your experience and enthusiasm to the classroom, and we will give you a schedule that puts you completely in control.

Requirements

  • Qualified Experts (Level 2 & Level 3): You must hold a "Full & Relevant" Early Years qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, NNEB, or a Level 3 Early Years Educator diploma). Teaching Assistant or Health & Social Care certifications do not fulfill statutory nursery ratio requirements for this tier.
  • Experienced & Driven Unqualified Staff: You may not possess formal paperwork, but your extensive hands‑on experience and vibrant flair for childcare are undeniable. Recent, verifiable professional experience in a nursery and a proactive attitude is required.

What you must bring to the floor:

  • The Vibe: An uplifting passion for early childhood development, bulletproof reliability, and an eager initiative to jump into every activity with a smile.
  • The Safeguarding Standard: A current Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate is highly desirable. If you do not have one, you must be fully committed to undertaking the training to ensure our nursery environments remain safe.

Benefits

Why You Will Thrive in Our Network:

  • Exceptional Weekly Earnings: Earn between £12.75 and £14.50 per hour, paid smoothly into your bank account every Friday.
  • Keep Your Commute Local to SE2: Connect you with supportive nursery settings right here in Abbey Wood and the wider Greenwich borough.
  • Total Diary Control: You are in charge of your working week. Build your schedule according to your preferred shift pattern.
  • The £100 Peer Bonus: Refer a childcare worker and receive a £100 cash bonus after they complete their first 100 hours of work.
