Qualification & Role Requirements
We pride ourselves on the quality of our nursery staff. To maintain our high standards, we operate two clear tiers:
- The Qualified Tier (Level 2 & Level 3): Must hold a "Full & Relevant" Early Years or Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, Level 3 Early Years Educator, NNEB). Please note: Due to government ratio regulations, Health & Social Care or Teaching Assistant (TA) qualifications do not meet the criteria for Qualified Practitioner rates.
- Are you an experienced Nursery Assistant but not qualified? We welcome applicants with 3 months+ of verifiable experience working in a private nursery or preschool setting.
Compliance (The 2025 Standard)
To be counted in nursery ratios, you must hold a Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate. If you do not have one, you must be willing to complete the training immediately to remain compliant with current regulations.
