We’re supporting a wonderful private nursery that’s dedicated to providing high‑quality early years education and care. As a Senior Practitioner, you’ll work closely with your Room Lead and the Nursery Manager to help oversee the daily running of your room. You’ll plan engaging, child‑led activities, support the team with clear direction and encouragement, and ensure every child’s needs are met in a safe, happy and stimulating environment. You’ll be a role model for best practice—balancing care, creativity, and professionalism—and helping to mentor junior colleagues as part of a strong and passionate early years team.
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
- At least 3 years’ experience post‑qualification
- Confident in supporting and motivating a small team
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS requirements
- Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates (or willingness to obtain)
