Requirements
The Professional Benchmark (What We Need From You):
- The Credentials: You must hold a “Full & Relevant” Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, EYE, NNEB). Teaching Assistant or Health & Social Care pathways do not meet statutory nursery ratio requirements.
- The Knowledge: You must possess a comprehensive, confident understanding of the EYFS framework, statutory welfare requirements, nursery ratios, and Ofsted expectations. You need to be “nursery-ready” from day one.
- The 2025 Standard: A current Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate is highly preferred. If you do not have one right now, we will help you complete the training within your first 3 months.
