You will work directly with customers throughout their journey, from evaluation and onboarding through to integration and production readiness, helping them move faster, solve complex technical challenges, and successfully bring products to market. You will also contribute to the development of integration tools, OS images, example applications and documentation, helping make our platforms easier to adopt at scale. This role will be based in either the UK or Italy. Candidates in both locations will be required to attend the office 2β3 days per week, either in Crawley, UK, or Torrita Tiberina, Rome.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Integration & Technical Engagement: Work directly with customers during evaluation, onboarding, integration and production readiness phases. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, OS and software layers. Reproduce customer issues, gather evidence, and coordinate structured escalation with Engineering and Product teams. Deliver technical workshops, onboarding sessions and product demonstrations. Communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders, translating complex technical topics into actionable guidance.
- Platform & System Integration: Support configuration and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux environments on Quixant platforms. Assist with creation and validation of customer-ready OS images and reference configurations. Support integration of peripherals and external devices. Guide customers on platform capabilities, system security, BIOS configuration and best practices. Participate in integration testing, benchmarking and system validation.
- Software Enablement & Integration Tooling: Support adoption of Quixant software platforms and integration layers. Develop and maintain integration tools, scripts, utilities and example code. Contribute to OS provisioning workflows, configuration tools and other enablement assets. Collaborate with Software, Firmware, FPGA and Product teams to improve tooling and integration experience. Treat integration tooling as a core part of the product and customer experience.
- Documentation, Knowledge & Product Feedback: Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation and integration guides. Capture recurring issues, integration challenges and customer feedback in a structured way. Provide actionable input to Product and Engineering teams based on real-world usage. Support technical marketing and pre-sales activities with demos and technical validation. Contribute to knowledge management and future AI-driven support initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Integration Engineer, Solutions Engineer, FAE, Technical Support Engineer or similar).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and/or Linux systems (logs, drivers, services, configuration).
- Experience with embedded systems, industrial PCs or hardware/software integration.
- Working knowledge of software development (C, C++, C#, Rust, Python, APIs, SDKs or similar).
- Ability to read, modify and create scripts or example code.
- Familiarity with common interfaces (USB, serial, TCP/IP, PCIe, GPIO).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across customers and internal teams.
