We are seeking an experienced Asset Operations Analyst to join WiseEnergy’s Asset Operations Team to manage revenues, contracts, insurance, ESG and provide regulatory and statutory compliance management for solar energy assets in Chile for maternity cover.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contract management i.e. renewals, tendering, issuing notices, obligations, etc. related to individual solar farm companies (SPA, Lease, PPA, O&M, EPC, etc) and understanding of lender requirements associated with contracts.
- In coordination with the Finance team, support the projects operational budgets and required reforecasts.
- Management of regulatory compliance submissions.
- Monthly, or as required, client reporting.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, social, governance (ESG) and community relations obligations and requirements.
- Work closely with the technical team to understand and strategically resolve technical issues.
- Management of insurance claims.
- Management of land lease agreements and relationships with landlords.
- Support ongoing asset onboardings.
- Approvals of contractual invoices.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Time management & prioritization skills - the ability to effectively manage yourself and your workload is critical.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Flexibility - being an effective team player means being flexible in your approach and open to getting involved with new things.
- Intellectual Curiosity – a genuine interest in commercial management and the ability to delve deep into topics.
- IT Literacy - comfortable with IT systems and working with data (intermediate-level Excel).
- Delivery focus – the ability to proactively churn through work at pace and deliver quality outputs.
- Passion for our mission ‘to generate a more sustainable future by leading the transition to clean energy.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Educated to degree level (economics, social sciences, law are good backgrounds for the role).
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in renewable energy space (preferably solar).
- The right to work in the UK or Spain.
