Fund Entity Management Accountant

We’re seeking a Management Accountant, preferably based in the UK (London) and fluent in English. Experience with fund entities and group accounting is desirable. The role covers end-to-end support for Group-owned fund entities; accounting is outsourced currently but may be brought in-house in the future and remains within the scope of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Review Quarterly Management Accounts from external administrators
  • Review loan workings on a quarterly basis
  • Review Quarterly Capital Account Statements from external administrators
  • Calculate monthly and quarterly inter-group invoicing in line with transfer pricing guidelines
  • Manage year-end Financial Statements for all corporate fund entities
  • Manipulate and upload corporate fund entities data into NetSuite (Accounting software)
  • Collaborate daily with outsourced administrators and various third-party providers
  • Review information provided by the outsourced provider
  • Assist in consolidating the fund entities
  • Support improvements to month-end close processes
  • Manage payments and approvals for corporate fund entities
  • Forecast monthly cashflow for corporate fund entities, including CapEx calculations
  • Oversee monthly cash sweeping mechanism for corporate fund entities
  • Maintain monthly cash concentration loan interest file
  • Manage payment requests for corporate fund entities
  • Review and approve quarterly Notices; GPS/Rebate and Equalisation workings in collaboration with Fund Team
  • Maintain invoice registers and bank reconciliations for fund entities
  • Maintain shared files and assist with co-sec activities and loan documentation between group entities
  • Assist with FCA reporting throughout the year
  • Track fund fees and rebates in the summary workbook
  • Provide a degree of control over fund commitments
  • Ad hoc activities as required by group finance

Qualifications & Skills

  • Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent
  • 3–5 years’ experience
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Knowledge of private equity fund structures would be a plus
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (and/or other European languages)
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning
  • IT literacy with comfortable use of IT systems and data (intermediate-level Excel)
  • Delivery focus with ability to produce quality outputs at pace
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Alignment with the company mission and values
