The Opportunity
We're partnering with a growing organisation in Buckinghamshire looking to appoint an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help modernise and scale their cloud-based data platform. You'll play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining robust data solutions, improving data quality and enabling business-wide reporting and analytics. Working closely with Data Analysts, BI Developers and wider stakeholders, you'll help deliver reliable, scalable data solutions that support key business decisions. Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop and optimise cloud-based data solutions
- Build and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines
- Work with Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric
- Improve data quality, governance and documentation processes
- Optimise SQL queries and database performance
- Develop data models to support analytics and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with BI Developers and other stakeholders
