Job Description Role: Senior IT EngineerLocation: OxfordSalary: £35,000 - £45,000Type: Full-time, Permanent Our client is a well-established Managed Service Provider delivering IT support, cloud solutions, and infrastructure projects to a broad range of SME and mid-market businesses across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join their technical team. This is a varied and client-facing position, combining 2nd and 3rd line support responsibilities with project delivery, consultancy, and onsite customer engagement. As a Senior IT Engineer, you will act as a senior technical escalation point while working closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver effective technology solutions. Providing 2nd and 3rd line support across a wide range of customer environments Delivering infrastructure, cloud, migration, and modernisation projects Recommending and implementing appropriate IT solutions Carrying out onsite installations, upgrades, and project work Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Hyper-V, networking, and security technologies Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted technical advisor Strong 2nd and 3rd line support experience Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure Experience supporting Windows Server environments Strong networking knowledge, including firewalls, VPNs, switching, and wireless technologies Experience delivering IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects Full UK driving licence Willingness to travel to customer sites as required Hybrid working ~ Exposure to a wide range of technologies and projects ~ Ongoing training and professional development ~ Clear career progression opportunities ~ If you're an experienced IT Engineer looking for a role that offers a blend of technical challenge, project work, consultancy, and customer engagement, we'd love to hear from you.
