About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated Junior Application Software Engineer to join a collaborative software team in Manchester. This role is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in Java, TypeScript, and React, looking to grow their career and gain exposure to full-stack development, cloud technologies, and agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Java, TypeScript, and React
  • Assist in the design and implementation of software solutions in a collaborative team environment
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to learn and adopt best practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

Skills & Experience:

Must Have:

  • Basic experience with Java
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with React
  • Understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JS)
