Role Overview
This is an IT Build & Provisioning role (devices, users, Microsoft 365) not a software or DevOps build engineering position. We are looking for a skilled IT Build & Provisioning Engineer to manage, maintain, and improve the build and deployment of end-user devices and user accounts across multiple client environments. This role focuses on Windows device builds, Microsoft Intune & Autopilot deployments, and Microsoft 365 user provisioning, rather than software development, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure automation. You will work closely with the Service Desk and wider technical teams to ensure devices and users are provisioned efficiently, securely, and consistently in line with defined standards and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and deploy Windows devices using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot
- Manage device deployment profiles, configuration policies, and compliance settings
- Provision and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Configure MFA, Conditional Access, and endpoint security policies
- Troubleshoot device build, deployment, and provisioning issues
