About the Role

Our client is scaling its cloud infrastructure to support a fast-growing SaaS product used by a large base of enterprise customers. As Senior Platform Engineer, you will own the internal developer platform, improve reliability and deployment speed, and mentor a small team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure on AWS
- Own CI/CD pipelines and drive adoption of GitOps practices
- Build self-service tooling that lets product teams ship without platform bottlenecks
- Improve observability, incident response and SLO tracking
- Lead infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform
- Champion security and cost optimisation across the platform
Essential Requirements
- 5+ years in platform, DevOps or SRE roles
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience
- Production experience with AWS
- Proficiency in Terraform or equivalent IaC
- Scripting ability in Python or Go
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins)
Desirable
- Experience with ArgoCD or Flux
- Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog
- Exposure to xgikmsk SOC 2 or ISO 27001 environments
- Previous team leadership or mentoring experience
