IT Systems & Network Support Engineer
Salary: £35,000
Location: Hybrid remote

Reports to: Support Services Manager
About the Role
We're looking for an IT Systems & Network Support Engineer to join our IT Support Services team. You'll provide first-class technical support to both internal and external customers, keeping their systems and networks running smoothly from troubleshooting day-to-day issues to helping implement new solutions.
What You'll Do
Resolve Help Desk escalations within SLA targets
Log, diagnose and fix support issues owning them through to resolution
Keep customers and colleagues updated throughout each call
Provide technical guidance and support pre-and post-sales
Prepare, configure and commission hardware and software
Evaluate new technologies and feed back findings
Write and maintain clear technical documentation
Champion good information security practices
What We're Looking For
Technical experience in some of the following:
Windows Server/desktop support, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Microsoft 365/Exchange, Entra ID, Azure
Intune Autopilot/ImmyBot deployment
Networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN) configuration and troubleshooting
VMware/Hyper-V virtualisation
Backup, replication and disaster recovery
SAN/NAS storage
Security tools: antivirus, VPN, firewall, MFA/2FA, IAM
You are:
A confident problem-solver who works well solo or in a team
Organised, detail-oriented and great under pressure
A strong communicator with a customer-first attitude
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once
Security and compliance aware
Qualifications
Working towards or holding a relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3, CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent)
Microsoft certifications are a plus, not a requirement
