Technical Support Specialist
Salary : £28,000-£30,000
Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Type: Permanent
We're recruiting for a Technical Support Specialist to join an established business within the consumer electronics and audio industry.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is tech-savvy, enjoys solving problems and has an interest in electronics, audio or AV. You'll provide technical support to customers, retailers and internal teams, while working closely with the Service, Customer Service and Product teams.
Key responsibilities
Provide technical support by phone, email and face-to-face.
Help customers and retailers with product queries and troubleshooting.
Support internal teams with technical questions.
Help manage the spare parts database and orders.
Test and learn about new products.
Help with general service and technical administration.
About you
We're open to people from different backgrounds. You don't need extensive technical experience if you have the right attitude and are willing to learn.
You could have experience in:
IT Support / 1st Line Support
Technical or Customer Support
Retail or Consumer Electronics
AV, Audio, Hi-Fi or Smart Home
General customer service with a strong interest in technology
You could also be a junior IT candidate, recent graduate or technology/electronics enthusiast looking to develop your career.

Confidence using computers and digital systems
A genuine interest in technology and electronics
