The Opportunity

My client, a growing business in Reading, is seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to be their first in-house marketing hire. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the company\’s marketing strategy, campaigns, and brand growth across both digital and offline channels.

You\’ll be responsible for delivering measurable results through SEO, PPC, and lead generation, using industry-leading tools to track, analyse, and optimise performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company\’s marketing strategy from the ground up.
  • Manage and optimise digital channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
  • Analyse and report on marketing performance using GA4, SEMrush, HubSpot, and Google Ads.
  • Create engaging marketing content and campaigns: blog posts, newsletters, ads, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor website performance, optimise conversion rates, and drive traffic and leads.
  • Manage marketing budgets, including agency spend and ad platforms.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape brand messaging, positioning, and campaigns.
  • Establish processes and best practices for future marketing growth.

About You

  • 3+ years\’ experience in a hands-on marketing role with SEO and PPC expertise.
  • Strong experience using GA4, SEMrush, HubSpot, Google Ads, and social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to grow brand awareness, lead generation, and online performance.
  • Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent copywriting, analytical, and project management skills.
