Birmingham-based agency Hybrid working (3 days in office)
Salary: 35-40k DOE + benefits
On behalf of our client, we\’re seeking a talented Digital Designer to join a forward-thinking, creative agency based in central Birmingham.
In this role, you\’ll deliver high-performing, on-brand digital design across ecommerce websites, mobile experiences, paid ads, CRM/email campaigns, and social content. You\’ll collaborate with strategists, developers, and marketers to ensure every project is not only visually striking but also drives measurable results.
You\’ll be adept at designing for digital-first brands, balancing aesthetics with functionality, and simplifying complex challenges through thoughtful design. While the team has strong branding expertise, you\’ll also have opportunities to contribute to brand strategy and visual identity projects-building your skills as you go.
What we\’re looking for:
- 2+ years\’ experience in a digital design or UI/UX role (agency or ecommerce background a plus)
- A portfolio showcasing digital-first work-spanning websites, UI, and marketing creative across devices and formats
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator a bonus)
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and ecommerce UX best practices
- Familiarity with digital marketing formats-especially paid social and email marketing
- Confident communicator, comfortable presenting ideas and designs to both colleagues and clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Passion for digital creativity, retail, and the evolving ecommerce landscape
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms
- Exposure to A/B testing, CRO, or performance-led creative strategy
- Animation or motion graphics skills
