We are a well-established IT solutions provider delivering managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure solutions to commercial clients across the UK. As part of our continued growth in the South, we're looking for a driven Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of existing accounts and unlock their growth potential.
This is a hands-on, growth-focused account management role. Rather than chasing cold new business, you'll be nurturing and developing a portfolio of smaller existing accounts - building relationships, spotting opportunities, and driving revenue through upselling and cross-selling across our solutions portfolio. You'll work closely with our Southern commercial team and report into a supportive leadership structure with clear quarterly priorities. You'll cover our Southern offices (Reigate, Sussex, and Cambridge), so you'll need to be comfortable on the road and visiting clients face to face.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing smaller commercial accounts
- Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities within current clients
- Build strong, lasting relationships with account stakeholders
- Proactively develop accounts currently on base-level support or licensing toward greater value
- Conduct regular account reviews to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to shape the right solutions for clients
- Travel across Southern offices and client sites as needed
About You
- Proven account management experience within IT / technology services, ideally with MSP background
- A genuine hunter mentality - hungry to grow accounts, not just maintain them
- Demonstrable track record of opening up and growing accounts
- Commercially astute with strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up
- Full, valid driving licence and able to travel across Southern offices (essential)
- Committed and looking to settle into a role for the long term
What's on Offer
- Salary up to £45,000
- Mileage paid for business travel
- A focused, well-led commercial team with clear quarterly priorities
- The opportunity to take real ownership of a portfolio and shape its growth
- A supportive, collaborative culture
