Role: Business Development Manager - Managed IT Services (MSP) Are you an ambitious Business Development Manager with experience selling IT Managed Services?

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing Managed Service Provider looking to expand its sales team with an experienced Business Development Manager based in Northampton.

The Role As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across the SME and mid-market sectors.

You'll build your own pipeline, engage with decision-makers, and introduce a broad portfolio of managed IT solutions designed to help businesses operate more efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities * Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking. * Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from initial contact through to close. * Identify customer needs and recommend tailored Managed IT solutions. * Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations. * Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial agreements. * Work closely with technical teams to ensure a smooth handover of new customers. * Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts. * Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

About You You'll ideally have: * Proven experience in new business sales within the MSP or IT Services sector. * A successful track record of winning new clients. * Experience selling Managed IT Support, Microsoft 365, Cloud, Cyber Security, Backup, Connectivity or other technology solutions. * Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills. * A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a genuine hunger to succeed. * A full UK driving licence.
