Overview: We are representing a brilliant and growing managed service provider who are looking to hire a Commercial Account Director with a strong new business hunter profile to acquire and grow commercial customers across the South of England. This role is weighted toward new logo acquisition and requires a proven track record in opening, developing, and closing new customer relationships in the managed services and infrastructure space (Networking, Cyber Security & Cloud). This is not a farming or account maintenance role. We are specifically seeking proven new business performers who consistently open doors, create pipeline, and win complex opportunities.
Role Purpose: Drive net new customer acquisition and new revenue across commercial organisations by positioning Managed Services, Core Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and close net new commercial customers.
- Build and execute a regional new business acquisition strategy.
- Self source pipeline through outbound prospecting and networking.
- Lead full new business sales lifecycle from first meeting to close.
- Build senior stakeholder relationships from cold entry.
- Run structured, value led new business engagements.
- Maintain strong new logo pipeline coverage.
- Consistently exceed new business revenue targets.
- Sell across: Managed IT Services, Core Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Cloud and Hybrid platforms.
Required Experience: Proven new business IT sales success in commercial markets. Track record of net new logo acquisition. Experience selling infrastructure or managed services. Evidence of self generated pipeline creation. History of closing complex, high value new deals.
